Hubbell has the blueprint for building a successful company and culture. In the early 2000s, he founded Superior Mill Services and turned the work environment for companies operating out of AK Steel upside down. He put his employees first and was keen on giving second chances to people who otherwise would have been overlooked. At one point, he partnered with local halfway houses in the Middletown area to give people a second chance. Hubbell sold Superior Mill Services nearly ten years ago but still supports the company as a consultant and mentor.
