Says Funk: “It’s not often a small town girl from North Bend, Washington gets to take a shot at the industry like this. I set out to achieve my goals as a songwriter in Music City, and somewhere along the way, God in His crazy sense of humor, decided to give me a record deal and a new EP. The way I see it, I only get one chance to leave a mark, so I’m giving it all I’ve got. It may be cliche´ but I didn’t come this far to only come this far.”
